2023 Spring Sports Performance & Football Training Classes

For Parents

Application: Each application will be screened. If the Instructor accepts the application, you will then make payment and once that has taken place, your student athlete child will be placed on the official course roster.

Type of Coaching & Environment: Football type of environment, that focuses on discipline, attention to detail, sportsmanship, intensive training, & learning.

Parent Commitment: Attendance shall be taken and enforced. I teach an important life skill of punctuality, grind, and commitment. A 100% parent buy-in to the program is required. 

Drop From Program (DFP): Habitual absences, behavioral problems, and/or consistent lack of motivation will cause for the student athlete to be removed from the training academy.

Coach Commitment: To get to know each student athlete where I can utilize multiple methods of teaching with the goal of improving their physical athletic skill sets, and mental fortitude. 

Type of Training & Learning

Sports Performance: Cardio, Core, Agility, Speed, Strength, Balance, & Proper Body Mechanics

Tackle Football Training: Tackling fundamentals with proper equipment, catching, footwork, blocking, body mechanics, positioning, rules of the game, and much more! 

Training Criteria

School Grade: HS, 8th, 7th, 6th, or 5th graders only

Class Size: Max 12 student athletes per class

  • Disclaimer: IV Youth Gym retains the right to increase and/or decrease class sizes

Length of Spring Session: March, April, & May

Class Days, & Times

6th, 5th, & 4th Graders: 

  • Mondays: 5:30pm - 6:45pm
  • Tuesdays: 5:30pm - 6:45pm

7th, & 8th, Graders :

  • Mondays: 6:45pm - 8pm
  • Tuesdays: 6:45pm - 8pm

Required Equipment

Sports Performance Training Day:

  • Athletic attire such at T-shirt, & shorts
  • Athletic shoes

Football Training Day: 

  • Football Pant: Parent provides it for their child.
  • Helmet and Shoulder Pads: Gym provides it. Equipment will remain at the gym after practice
  • Cleats: Football cleats. Must be non-metallic. Soccer cleats are okay. Parent provides it.
  • Mouth Guard: 100% required. Parent provides it.
  • Water Source: 100% required/ Student athlete must bring their own water to drink. 

Pricing (Not required Yet. Interest Form for Now)

  •  $99 per month for both combined classes + CC fees
  • Dues are due at the beginning of each training month
  • No Cash or Checks. Only Debit or Credit Card type of payment are accepted via youth gym's website
  • There are no refunds, credit, or transfer of monthly dues if student athlete is removed from the program regardless of the situation
